After playing through this game twice, a couple of questions struck me. The first one is gameplay-related; the other is story-related.
For the first... Maybe I missed this somewhere, but what do the authority stars do, exactly? The description in the game doesn't really clear anything up for me....
For the second... am I the only one who finds something strange with the line of succession of Begnion's apostles? Just in case, let me put this under a spoiler tag....

As for the authority stars, I THINK they have the same effect as the leadership boost from FE4. I could be wrong, so to speak.

I haven't played FE4/FE5, so that still doesn't clear up what the authority stars do, exactly. If it's a boost, it must be pretty negligible. :X

Authority stars/Leadership boost essentially do the same as biorhythm, increasing odds of hit and avoid.
