Even when I ignored those questions I still got a 60.
Let's get back on topic so that it isn't derailed into a debate. Agreed?

This may have become a debate, but I wouldn't say it's derailed since it's still relevant to the main topic. Besides, at least this is a debate that isn't stat-related for once...
To start things off, how does everyone like her? For several parts of part 3 you're FIGHTING her. Heck, many members of the laguz part of the army you command are so pissed off at her that they want her dead! No prior military experience? Pretty sure Nolan advises her for the first few bits of part 1 and then Sothe picks up the role afterwards until part 3. At that point she has a decent amount of prior military experience, and is thus capable of making her own choices from there on. Hair and eyes? She's an anime character, that's absolutely nothing special. Heal without staves? Both in-game and story-wise, it comes at a price (being that it weakens her). Vessel for the goddess? Only during cutscenes for the purposes of communication, she can't actually fight with Yune's power.

Well......as far as the hair goes, I'd have to disagree with you, Neofox. Everyone refers to her as "the Silver-Haired Maiden" - if silver hair were that common, she'd have a different title, like "the Golden-Eyed Maiden" or something like that. And come to think of it, silver hair is pretty rare in the Fire Emblem series. I mean, Pent...the Freeges and Deridre/Julia...I can't really think of anyone else off the top of my head besides Micaiah.
She certainly doesn't have the military experience to become the commander of the Liberation army when she does only midway through Part I. True, the Dawn Brigade has been fighting for some time by then, but she's got no experience at all when it comes to commanding a larger army - and I highly doubt Nolan or Sothe do either, for that matter.
Everyone in her army likes her. And many of those she's fighting.
Though Sacrifice comes at a cost, it's still unique and bizarre for her world.
(All this, and I don't think she is a Mary Sue...)

I do not really think it matters when it comes to the military experience, it does not help her to be considered a Mary Sue. For one, she has theloving support of her army who will pretty much be at a whim to everything she says, plus she must have learned some kind of volatile techniques or strategies when it came to pulling off the (slightly) amazing accomplishments the Dawn Brigade made. Sothe served under Ike too, so he must have learned a thing or two.
The Silver Hair? You do have a point there as Jarod's soldiers describe it as bizzare, but either way that silver hair was probably a side effect of being branded. Oh, and you forgot Idoun.

Meh...Idoun's is more...purply. But fine. Still pretty rare, though. (Slightly) amazing techniques aside, the Dawn Brigade consisted of a few kids, not an army. The archetype of someone with little to no real military experience, at least on a large scale, is a bit much. Umm...how many other Branded have silver hair? I don't think any. Soren doesn't, that's for sure. I don't think that's it...

I was thinking exactly that as I wrote it, though Ike at least has experience commanding a larger group than Micaiah - he's had to command a whole band of mercenaries before he becomes a general, at least.

The Greil Mercenaries consisted of Greil, Ike, Boyd, Oscar, Titania, Rhys, Soren, Shinon, Gatrie, Rolf, and Mist.
The Dawn Bridage consisted of Nolan, Sothe, Micaiah, Leonardo, and Edward.
So the Greil Mercenaries were more than twice as big as the Dawn Brigade, but both were still pretty small. (eleven people as opposed to five.)

But by the time he becomes a general, you've picked up over twice that number of people. I know, in the long run, 20 people has little to do with commanding an army. I'm just saying...

Everyone in her army likes her. Charisma is kind of a requirement for leadership. And many of those she's fighting.
Erm, not really.. Ike, Sanaki, etc. all think she's some pigheaded leader who would rather send her troops to their doom rather than negotiate peace. I don't really think there's anyone on the Laguz Alliance's side who has any respect for her at all, to be frank. EDIT: Or any of the enemies in part 1, for that matter... All of them seem to hate her pretty badly, too.

The Dawn Bridage consisted of Nolan, Sothe, Micaiah, Leonardo, and Edward. And starting out? It had 4-6 people total, up till a certain point. This is just if we're talking about just what Ike's leading throughout the game; he does pick up more, but so does Micaiah.

It's worth mentioning, I think, that Ike was raised for years as the son of the commander of a mercenary company, and in the first seven chapters he's being groomed to lead it. He had plenty of experience by the time he actually had to command.

I think I should also point out that the Dawn Brigade may not just be the playable allies... I mean, call me crazy, but I refuse to believe the Issac Liberation Army in FE4 consists of only 5 people...

But IIRC he didn't actually do the leading until Chapter 1. He's had combat experience, sure, but no experience in the leadership department. Besides, haven't the Dawn Brigade been fighting Begnion for a few years or so? :S

As of chapter 1 of Fire Emblem 9, the Greil Mercenaries consisted of Ike, Greil, Boyd, Oscar, Titania, Rhys, Shinon, and Gatrie. You might not count Rolf and Mist, since Greil never put them on active duty, or Soren, since he was in Melior at the time. But even not counting Soren, Rolf and Mist, the Greil Mercenaries initially had 8 people total, not 4-6.

I AM ERROR.
Of course, the same goes for Micaiah; she only leads Edward and Leonardo at first. (Nolan and Sothe do seem like the Dawn Brigade's equivalent to Greil, Shinon, and Gatrie, don't they?)
