Weapon skill transfer question

I just keep coming up with questions about FE9-10 transfers, I guess.

Nevertheless, there is something I'd like to know about weapon transfers. Some of the characters in FE9 lose their weapon skills in FE10. For example, Jill and Brom start off in FE9 with Lance skill, but they lose it in FE10. (Granted, they do eventually get it back...)

So my question is this: If I transfer Jill's data from FE9 to FE10, does her Lance skill from FE9 affect at which level she gets it back in FE10, or does it make no difference at all?

Nope, it doesn't transfer.  Note also that Rhys doesn't get a bonus in Light skill levels.
