Oh Ok I'll make sure the brush is set right. Normally when you do something like this is better to have multiple layers or do it all on one layer?

I always like to work in separate layers, just because it's the best way to avoid having to scrap a piece entirely due to a mess up. It depends how you plan to paint this though. If you're going to use the smudge tool a lot, you'll probably want to play around on just a few layers, as it allows the colors to blend properly. ((Set aside a layer for skin, for the clothes, for the hair, etc. Each different entity of the figure should have a different layer to minimize accidents.)) If you're following the tutorial and plan on just pilling on the different colors and brush strokes without actually blending them with any tool, than I see no reason why you should limit the number of layers you use. If it's just brush strokes, you don't have to worry about how the colors will "mix" because they essentially just sit on top of each other.

Yay! Karla! Since you're already pretty far into this, and doing it in markers no less, I'll only point out the one major issue that I see: her face. Everything is just a little too far down and too far to the left. I would suggest lassoing all that in Photoshop and centering her facial features so that they sit closer to the center and farther up. If I had to estimate, I would say that her top eyelids should be just below her bangs, and her eyebrows should be peaking out from under her hair.

Other than that, lookin' good! There are a few little things (ex: blocky hand, unnatural looking fabric) that could use some work, but again, seeing as your doing this in a fairly permanent medium, I don't think you should worry yourself over small mistakes that are too late to fix.

Ok, I've looked at all your drawing that I'm assuming you have done over the last two months. I don't know if I've already said this, so right now, I'm going to try being gentle with my critique.

What i want you to do, is to find a picture of a still life, or better, take a picture of a still life, and draw that. Before you bawwww at me, i was going to say, "just draw cylinders, boxes, and whatever simple shapes you can get your hands on, for the next two months. Do not draw anything else". All your pieces lack the most elementary basics of drawing anything in space. Shapes. Form.

All your figures when i look at them, are outline drawings. You're assuming where things are placed, and you are not drawing through your figures using basic shapes. Your pieces fall apart terribly when a character's arms are anywhere, except by their sides for this very reason. Same with the hands.

Your Karla piece is the worse piece i've seen from you in a long time. I don't know where you are pulling your references, but it's not working. Draw through on the head, before you put hair on. Draw the cylinder of the neck before you draw the cylinder of the collar. Your waist 96% of the fucking time is a line when you draw it. last i checked, the upper torso was closer to a cylinder then a piece of paper or a box.

Your upper torso, finally isn't at 2/3, or at least her shoulders aren't. it's 2/3 from the bustline to the waist. Her shoulders are full front. "But they aren't!" you say? hide the torso from the breast up and put a full front head on those shoulders. the collar is the only thing that will make that drawing odd. But that's a grade too complex to your biggest problem: Basic understanding and rendering of geometric shapes.
