Gonzales

I was thinking about my favourite axe-user (Gonzales) and I`ve come up with one question relating to his history. Does he have an actual background story? What were his reasons for fighting with the enemy bandits in the first place (sorry if the answer for this is a bit obvious, but thisis just an example question)? If he doesn't have a background story, then is he just another random character that Nintendo just throws at you to use?

One questions about Gonzales from a gameplay perspective. Right now, I took the Elphin route (I think, because I'm at the chapter that I have to fight Zinc, a general, in) and am about to recruit Gonzales. I hear that I'm better off recruiting him in Lalum's route, but I can't remember why. Can someone care to fill me in again?

Also, this should probably go into the requests section, but just to save a thread, is there a site where I can view Gonzale's supports?

Gonzales is an outcast because of his hideous appearance. He doesn't seem to be very intelligent, either, so the bandits were probably just using him because of how strong he is.

He's better in Lalum's route because he starts out with the same stats as Elphin's route, but at a lower level.

You should be able to find all of the supports in the translation topic on FESS4.

No, he joins on chapter 10 regardless of what route you take.
