I figured since FEDS is a remake of FE3/1, I should ask here.

Has there been any news on it? I haven't heard anything.

E3 is an annual gaming expo. I have no clue when it will be held.

What little we know about FE DS points to it being a remake of the original Fire Emblem alone, so I'm going to move this off to the FE1 board.

E3 this year will start July fifteenth and end on the seventeenth. As for information, I think Vincent's got pretty much everything on the game thus far, based off the few screenshots and three-second long video we've seen so far.

Basically, at this point all we know is that it's a remake of the first Fire Emblem, with added content and improved graphics. I'm positive it'll get some mention at E3 in July.

Recently IGN posted some Japan and American release dates chart, and there was nothing about FEDS, not even a JP TBA 2008.

I have seen a semi-reliable source (possibly reliable, but I haven't had time to clarify it) that has Fire Emblem DS on the release schedules, but only as "2008". The schedule in question goes up to around July.

I figured, the schedule is from the NOJ site.

If the Japanese release schedules won't be announced until July (assuming that NOJ is only concerned with Japanese release dates, of course), it stands to reason that the release date itself will be quite a bit later in the year.

And if Radiant Dawn is anything to go by, it'll be released in the States about 9 months after its release in Japan, and in Europe about 5 months after the States...

So I doubt we'll be seeing it in English sooner than 2009.

On second thought, maybe the release dates of the GBA FEs are a better... measurement, if that's the right word... and both of them were released in the States about 7 months after they were released in Japan.

On third thought, that's still probably no sooner than 2009.
