The only real problem with your FE works is, some of the stuff are on Photoshop transparent (or suppose to be) background and it kind of makes my eye wonder all over the page but great stuff!

The Matthew and Leila picture is my favorite.

These are really good! They're very expressive, which is really important when drawing characters/people/etc. I hate it when the figures just lay there, all limp and boring.

As for general commentary, just keep up with your figure drawing. It looks like you have a good understanding of proportion and anatomy, but you just need to keep refining it. Sometimes the arms look a hair short, but I'm sure you can remedy that no problem.

Keep it up!

Edit: I love those character face sheet... things. WANT!

This is certainly an experience that I wish that I could see in the actual game. But, he should put the dagger down. But I do see that your getting better with different colors to see the clothes look more realistic, this is proof that practice makes perfect.

Nice work on making him in a stance that easily made me mistaken him for Sothe for a moment. xD But isn't his cape missing a little drawing lines around the right side or I suppose that it is part of a shine to his cape.

It's a sketch and it needs WORK.

What with the pokedots in the background, but nice work as I see that this is just a practice sketch that some would do when getting bored in school.

@Oh I see no transparenting.

theme: A Hero (Lucius' hero )
cracked it kinda >_>; poor Raven...and Lucius is missing a body yeah, might fix it when I'm not lazy.

Good shading and excellent work on the watercolors in this one.

I...HATE...Merlinus, for some reason....seems like Karel does too, fufu~

This sketch shows that Merlinus at the bottom is looking nervous.

theme: joining
Once...Guy shall get clothes in this picture...
Sketch.

Yeah, nice work on Guy showing him that he would do anything to please Matthew even though Matthew teases him for the fun of it.

don't mind the title, it's an injoke with my best friend .
theme: Heroine.
...Every woman's heroine
Sketch.

I love this one, Lyn is cute when she is angry. =P

Well I see that transparenting wasn't nessessary as maybe that you wanted to show how you drew the characters in the lengthy space of each sketch as it helps prevent the picture from getting too plain.

These were likely just some practice skectches that she did at school and that anatamy wasn't really nessessary in these drawings.

Sketch or not, I feel my comment still stands. This includes some of the finished work as well. Still, its lovely artwork.

Really, I like critique on my sketches: it enables me to improve them before I finish them. And even if it's on a finished picture, I can take the tips along for my next try right? ^^ Don't hold back critique please!

As for the transparency thing....^^; I'm sorry, those sketched were screenshots of the original ones in PS (I had MS paint opened and PS was acting slow for me...so I did that to save them temporarely).

  Thanks so much for the comments! I'll try and look at the anatomy more in my next ones Popo!

huh. someone who's actually good. I can't spot any noticable things in your pieces that need extreme work. Your perportions are within normal human bounds, any problems with shapes and form aren't too noticable, whether it is because you've hidden it well, or you actually know what you're doing (heaven forbid). The painting however is falling apart. One and the obvious: Your neck in the painting is way too long. In most of your serious pieces, your neck is shy of being on the long side--but this one takes the cake. The shape of the eye is a little too akin to a front view, cut off a bit on the outside corner.

The shape of the head is... not around. Take your drawing and do a traceover of her without her hair, and you'll see my confusion. Do the same with the chest area. It looks like it is suppose to be full side, but i'm seeing a partical 2/3 view.

You're good with the basic drawings when you're not thinking about shading, perportions, etc. But when you get serious, and spend time with it, things magically contourt.

I'd be head-over-heels for this were it not for Geoffrey's face. Everything about this is great, but the face just, well, doesn't look like Geoffrey's face. Almost "too anime," a little beginner-ish. Other than that, I am way impressed.

I agree with Samus on this one, cause I can't tell if Geoffery is either angry or surprised at something.

Oooh, your work is lovely, but...you seem to have a knack for making the head too big for your people's bodies. ;O Pay close attention to it...because big heads are not always a very good thing to have.  Either make their head smaller or their bodies bigger. ;

Geoffery's face is off because of the fact that his left eye is simply too small.  Also, it would be good if the side of his face didn't "dent" in so much.  It should look more like Elincia's, despite the fact that he's a guy.  His face isn't titled far enough that it would seem to look "dented" like that.  Also, I don't know why, but Geoffrey's "crotch" armor seems too flat.  I think it's the way the belt overlaps it.

As for Elincia, her right eye is a bit too huge.  It should also be moved toward the center of her face just slightly more.  Also, even though it's hard to see, but Elincia's torso just kind of...becomes...well, it just goes missing and moves right onto her legs which I find very strange. O_o

Other than that, it's a really good composition. And the background isn't bad at all. I adore Geoffrey/Elincia~

^^; That was all about the matthew x leila picture or the new sketch? Or is the second part about the sketch and the first not? Sorry I got a bit confused. Either way thank you!

Ok I'll change Geoffrey's face (it looked off for me too but at 1 am I needed sleep), the eyes of both of them, Elincia's body oh and Roylover:

It isn't armor, it's a piecer of fabric, which is why it looks so flat

Thanks SO much guys~ *goes fixing it*

-No, I mean the picture you drew that's NOT FE.  The first one that you did seriously...and then the RPG character guy.  Both of their heads are too big.  As for the FE section, Raven's head is too big.

-Oh!  Then it shouldn't be angled like that. ; It should be angling the way his torso is angled. (As in...slightly on a slant.)

Sorry about not being clear. ;

I wasn't sure about if Tybalt was talking about just one picture or more but now that you tell me this it does help a lot as well, they're heads really ARE too big yes ( it's a main problem I'm always dealing with ) and oh my god that's true...it should have a slight slant, oh geez my dumbest mistake yet... I blame the time

ok I've improved a few things but I'm really not that sure on what to do with Elincia's body ^^; I don't see what went wrong...so um, help?

http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b289/Tirinny/FE003.png

Does Geoffrey look a bit more like Geoffrey now? @_@ Oh and this is them in Elincia's 'Ghandi' moment btw.

Hmm...it's no surprise about Gefforey's face as it is alot tougher to draw men anatomy than it is for women. Women are easier to draw then men, but I do love Elincia in the picture as it shows her graace and purity.

...There is no rule about 'women are easier' or 'men are easier' really, most times I hear that people find women tougher to draw because of all the curves and what not they have in their body. I myself find them easier to draw because ....I don't know, perhaps because I'm a woman myself?

it doesn't matter either way.

Though men have a muscular body making them tough to draw their face and arms realistically as women also have sleder bodies making them easier to draw as they reqiure less detail then men to draw, but it doesn't matter though as practice will make anything perfect!

Tch.

That is significantly improved, much better than what you had before. As for Elincia. The confusion arises with her cape. Is it opaque or transparent, I just can't tell.

Also, forgive me for saying so, but you're going to have to give me some pointers later on scale and anatomy, heh heh.

Good work.
