I went ahead and finished the runthrough I was talking about, trying to get the Soren epilogue convo confirming that he's the son of Ashnard. After finishing it, I did indeed get the convo. This is what I did...
Fulfilled every requirement for getting Lehran (I'm not sure how important this is)
Fought Micaiah with Soren in Chapter 3-7 (And killed her >>)
Fought Pelleas with Soren in Part 3 Endgame
Got an A Support between Pelleas and Soren (I think this and the battles are the key)
I've got a couple of save files branched off of this one, so I'll tinker around and see if I can get the convo without some of the prior criteria.

I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that people have gotten the epilogue conversation with an Ike-Soren A Support, so I don't think that the Soren-Pelleas A Support is necessary.
I do know that the Soren-Pelleas fight in Part 3 Endgame is not enough to unlock the "spoiled prince" conversation by itself. I intend to look into this matter and see whether the Ike-Soren A Support (and the Soren conversation in 4-Final-5) have anything to do with it one way or another. Whether I can actually be bothered to go through with it before you do, though, is another matter.

Hmm. Well, I didn't get Soren and Ike to A support in this one, so I didn't get the conversation with Soren in Endgame Part 5. Also, since I always get Pelleas and always get Soren and Ike's A Support, I'm fairly certain that the Pelleas support is key. Of course, it could just be the battles. So, for the first experiment, I'm going to ignore the Micaiah fights and just battle Pelleas and get the support.

I never get the Soren/Pelleas support, and I always get the conversation. The key is somewhere else, maybe? Or perhaps, there is more than one way to trigger it?

Yea, it's definitely not needed. I just finished another runthrough with it, and I'm fairly certain that the only requirement is to battle Pelleas with Soren in Part 3 Endgame. I'm not sure if you have to kill him or not, since each time Soren fights Pelleas, he kills him, but I would presume that it doesn't matter.
I also didn't battle Micaiah with Soren at all, and left Soren with Ike, as well as didn't battle Sephiran with Pelleas, so none of those are required.

yea i think you need to have transfer data from PoR and have an Ike-Soren A support in both games...

Sounds like there are a number of "requirements" of which at least two have to be met:
Ike-Soren A Support
Soren-Micaiah battle in 3-7
Soren-Pelleas battle in 3-Final.
Maybe there are more of them. Maybe the Soren-Pelleas A Support is one of them.
I wonder if you can get it with the Ike-Soren support and the Soren-Micaiah battle, but without the Soren-Pelleas battle...

I'll be pretty free over the next few days, so I'll give this a try and report back. I've got a Soren-Ike A support(but I don't know about my PoR save), I didn't battle Micaiah with Soren in 3-7, and I'm near 3-Final right now, so I'll test the Pelleas battle.
