Update! I have a little guessing game for anyone interested. I'm doing what I like to call a free-interpretation ((Drawin' things my way!)) on a particular character, and it's up to you folks to try and guess who it is! ((This could be incredibly easy or ridiculously hard. )) I'll post the picture and anyone so inclined may guess the character and leave some feedback on the sketch. <---- Please! If you're the first person to guess who it is correctly, I just might doodle something of your choice...

*Is male
*Is in my favorite Fire Emblem(s) ((See profile, maybe?))
* "The more you see your own impurity, the closer you are to me."

Yeah... That's the gist of it. Looking at the guesses, it's really pretty hard, so I'll throw out another hint.

Gray Fox, if you want, I'll doodle something for you. No guarantees that it'll be top-notch, but if you ask me to draw a character or something, I shall! ((Or you can just take the dedication slot when I finish up on Karel. ))

Anyways, the logic behind the short hair is that I wanted to capture him sometime between FE7 and FE6, without having to sacrifice young Karel's sex-appeal good looks for old Karel's sanity. It's a nice balance.

Oh... heck no! Maybe I was a glass-blower in another life, but certainly not this one! Still, it would be pretty cool to do something like that for real...

...It was pushed in via thumb, so I'll take that as a compliment.



Anyways, update time! Here's a work in progress and a colored sketch. I'm pretty excited about the first one, truth be told, but the hair is scaring me. Does any one have any tips for doing the lineart for detailed hair?
