We have the full story as a Japanese fansite transcribed it (you would assume if they transcribed it they have playthrough videos somewhere but thats anthoer topic...) but the problem is you only heared this during broadcast.

This topic has some info plus some translated dialogue.

I'd consider them supplimentary to the FE3 package but as far as they go as games. They are a far cry from the Zelda games which were pretty fully fledged.

Did it come out with FE3, or is it fan made? I've never found any ROMS, so I figured it was possibly official, but released small scale, but then I was reading and found implications that it was fan made.

They aren't fan games--think of them as WiiWare is for the Super Famicom.  Just less... modern (although in many aspects it seems more advanced gaming-wise--just look towards a certain BS Zelda and others).

They were initially broadcasted between FE4 and FE5, and there are ROMs for the games.
