I have a question: Is image 1 from your sig from the project, or was it made up? Also, like I said before, you should put Mario in with a custom Fighter sprite, and PRF hammer because you are a Mario fan  |

You haven't done any complete project yourself, have you. This hobby is really the same as creating a movie, writing a book, or creating art--it takes time, and it takes effort. Most of all, it takes patience. This is a hobby, and we don't work night-and-day on the thing unless we want to. Therefore, some hacks may never be completed, while others in less than a month. Try waiting longer, I'd say.

And the best thing for a hacker is inspiration and support.
I can give the latter at least: I still can't wait until this is finished. This will be quite the eye opener as to what people can do if they only try. Hopefully someone can set you up with editing maps and music too, if you'd like. It's easy, since the map data's been editable for years, and the music is supported by SAPPY.
EDIT: Edmond's battle pallete seems a tad dark, though. I think it'd be worse when I play it on the actual system D:

Kishuna always had an awesome sprite, as it was always in the game D: The dark palettes clash with the other colors, and the style itself is horrid when the sprite's colors are used to emphasize shading. Three dark colors does not equal shading  This little thing has gotten me back into the mood for FERetro |
