I was informed some time ago that this hack had modified music... out of curiosity, to what extent have you modified it?
Though music changing is on MK404s Future Stff list from what I can gather this verison has no music changed. Devourer of time is the only FE7 hack I can think of that has modified music. Prehaps you were thinking of that. Edits: God-knows how old version of Visual Boy Advance (1.3 I think...I use an old version becuase newer versions became bloatware) does the white screen of death. No$GBA (2.4d)...crashes as soon as Linoains portrait tries to load. The CRC32 of the pathched and expanded ROM is:18a43266 Why did I say that? I want to check the patched ROM is correct before doing anything else.

I don't know how that's working.
Maybe the ROM seems to be too large or your emulator is probably old. Someone reduced the ROM size to 2000000 bytes in hex seemed to do the job.
Maybe I'll reupload a patch with a reduced size later(I will do this for Ch. 23 Jack). For now, you can use a hex editor to reduce its size.

I would do that but I can't edit Rom size in hex.
Edit : I have the latest Visual Boy Advance . And it doesn't work with that one.

Okay, let's do this an easier way: MageKnight, which ROM did you hack as a base. The American, European, or Japanese version? I assume the (U) version.
And how big is the final ROM size? I hope you don't have 12MB of empty space setting in the ROM for no real reason...

(U); number 1235. And I WAS going to reduce the ROM size to get rid of that extra room, but I forgot about it. Though, I guess I'll get to it now, since a lot of people are asking about that.

Well, anyone themselves can reduce the size in the meantime. If they really don't have a clue, WindHex32 can adjust the ROM size lower as well as expand it, I think. Lunar Expand may work too, as well as all the other programs out there like this. EDIT: Works fine--when I ran it through the SuperCard converter, it clipped off the extra space by default, and the ROM stood fine either at or a little above its original size And the better news, unlike flyingace's hack, this actually works on the real hardware ~_~ Now I can play the hack on the go and also tell you exactly if the colors are too dark or brightNice way to cover having Lyn in the beginning still :p

Have you tried working through any of the programs I listed? I didn't forget about them: it's complete common sense. MageKnight told you what to reduce the ROM size to; I told you what can do that. You take the magic number, run the program, and find the part about modifying size. Without any knowledge of what a hexadecimal even is you could plug it in, click a button, and watch it go.
There's a difference between trying something yourself and waiting for others to do smoething simple for you >.>;;

With which program and how did you modify it :?
EDIT: And it's always good to double-check that the ROM was patched correctly. With StealthPatch, you need to first select an unaltered ROM, then the first patch, then specify what the new ROM will be called, and in this case, further specify the next patch to apply. Rom cam out to 32XXX in size, ran fine on my VisualBoy, and that was before it was cut down too.

I seem to be one of the only ones with no problem.
On a side note, this hack is sexy and was worth the wait.

Updated the .zip file again; now patching the ROM with StealthPatch should yield a 21 MB ROM.
See if that helps anything.

Oh, and what's Mia's Def growth? I don't think 6 at 6/0 is natural...

It's 20%, so she shouldn't be getting it that often. I applaud you if you can get a Mia as uber as mine. >_>
