I want Levin w/Fury but Sylvia's on his mind!

Yea, so the pairings I wanted were Levin/Fury and Claude/Sylvia but when I had levin's love record chacked the dude said "Sylvia is on your mind".

Is it too late? And is it that bad anyway?

if you're in chapter 4, as long as you keep Sylvia near Claude and one space away form Levin, your pairings should be done easily. also, there's a talk event between Sylvia and Fury which SylviaXLevin by 25 pts and FuryXLevin by 50 pts. after you conquer the first castle, there's a talk between Sylvia and Claude which rises their relation by almost 300 pts, making the pairing done. there's also the same for Fury and Levin after Silesia, I think (both are married when I start the chapter usually), which gives enough points to make the pairing in one shot.

If you don't care for rankings, you can kill of Sylvia and resurrect her later with the Valkyrie staff (or not) after FuryxLevin is done.

I like to be sure. If she's dead, she can't fall in love with Levin : P

Plus if you're a decent player, there's no need to use the Valkyrie staff for any other reason.

I read here on the Serenes Forest website that it is SylviaXLevin that gets the 50 points pair while the FuryXLevin pair gets the 25 points and that the SylviaXClaude pairing is increased by 100 points in the pairing.

my mistakes, you're absolutly right. I had in memory teh numbers before correction, since I didn't check in a while....

It says : "Sylvia is on your mind", right ? Then you don't have to worry much, as it's only the second love stage out of the 5 ("don't have feelings for anybody" => "is on your mind" => "fond of" => "in love with" => "bound to each other" , the last one meaning the 2 characters are paired with each other.)

Just keep Sylvia and Levin afar from each other, and wait for the Levin/Fury convo at Chapter 4 (which occurs after Silesia Castle s taken by the enemy). That convo gives a 290 pts boost between each other, the exact minimal ammount required for them to be paired (as they start with 210 pts between each other, and you need 500 pts to pair two chars between each other.)
In short, with that convo, you'll automatically pair Levin and Fury together.
