I really liked this movie, but anyone digging into this with deep analysis is waaaayyy overshooting. It's pretty easy to figure out and isn't supposed to ask any difficult questions (typical moral stuff is what it amounts too. Like don't trash the planet; doing stuff for yourself is good; and vague shadowy kinda evil corporation). There's not much elaboration on it, and there isn't intended to be (which is a good thing, I don't like preachy movies). Movies are mostly entertainment, and I don't see why it can't be great for just that.
One neat touch I didn't notice on viewing it, but wish I had was how the cleaning bots were named after the three stooges. Gotta watch the movie again sometime.

Fun flick.
But stop overanalyzing it. It's a fucking
Pixar
film, for god's sake.

Wall-E
is a superior example of what can be done with 3-D animation, IMO, and it is certainly one of the strongest films that Pixar has done to date. I was very happy with it.

But in spite of that, I still absolutely loved it.
