........yeah, so, not sure how popular the Slayers anime is here, but it's worth a TRY (...haha, i couldn't resist ~_~)

anyway, the first episode of the new season aired yesterday in japan, and it's all over the internets now, though still unsubbed. i only understood like half of the dialogue, but even then, it's lookin like this series will be just as entertaining and clever as the previous ones~

it certainly is a lot shinier.

so yeah. it's an easy find it on youtube or google if you're interested. even if you can't understand japanese at all, it's still really easy to figure out what's going on in the first episode, especially if you're familiar with the series.

I'm incredibly pumped about this.  The Slayers has always had a dear place in my heart.  I'll be back after I've actually had a chance to watch it, with more comments, in all likelihood.

same.

which is why it was so surprising and awesome that after.....what, more than 10 years since TRY was aired that they went and picked up from where they left off. At first i was kindof worried...voice actors changing, characters being interpreted differently, and other similar problems faced by such a long hiatus. sure, it's still too early to tell for sure, but it seems there will be none of that to worry about.

also, that opening is too neat. can't wait for the full version of plenty of grit to be released.
