Hello peeps!
Well i was just wondering what chapter most people get their first character promoted ( not prepromotes mind you ) the chapter i usually get mine is either chapter 14x or 15 .
Also which character is usually the first character for you that gets promoted .
My last run through was lugh at chapter 14 actually , he tore that chapter apart .

Dieck is usually the first one I promote, around the chapter where you get Durandal.
The rest of my army promotes before Heavenly Light (the aureola chapter)

For me, Thany/Shani is usually the first unit to hit 20, but I think you don't get the Heaven Whip til later.
I *think* the first promotion item I get may be the Guiding Ring in the Lyrina chapter (chapter 8?). If I Arena Abused, Clarine gets it on the spot. If I didn't, Lyrina gets it around ch. 12.
Ah, never mind. I went over the promotion items and arena timeline as below. If I arena abuse, Rutger gets the promotion on the spot. Otherwise, Thany might get it in ch. 8 or 9.
ch. 7 ~ Hero Crest (Arena)
ch. 8 ~ Heaven Whip, Knight Crest, Guiding Ring
ch. 11a/10b ~ Orion's Arrow; Possibly Hero Crest, Orion's Arrow, Heaven Whip
ch. 12 ~ Heaven Whip
ch. 13 ~ (Arena)
ch. 14 ~ Guiding Ring
ch. 15 ~ Possible Knight Crest
ch. 16 ~ Knight Crest, Hero Crest (Secret shop promotion items + Angel Robe)
ch. 17S/17I/20I ~ (Arena)
ch. 20S/18I ~ Guiding Ring
ch. 21 ~ 2 Knight Crests, (Secret Shop Steroids, not sure)
ch. 22 ~ Hero Crest
ch. 23 ~ Guiding Ring

My first character promoted is Lance, usually. In my last ranked HM, I got him promoted by Chapter 11 or so.  This time, Clarine was first to promote, at about 12x. |

The first character I promoted last time I played was Dieck. That was quite a long time ago, so I don't remember what chapter.  |

Hmm.....I would usually have Lilina promoted before anyone else as she does get lots of EXP for kills. You won't be surprised at how fast that she levels up due to her starting very underleveled.

Oddly enough, I seem to be alone in saying I usually end up promoting Lugh first. He is always my most awesome unit for the whole game, for some reason, and I promote him before Clarine because she's damn near useless in the desert chapter.

I always either promote Rutgur or Dieck at chapter 7. Whichever one is not as great. |
