If it wasn't obvious before, Mars and much of his world seems to take a page from Roman society, in various measures. Actually, most of the names in this game are inspired by the Mediteranean countries, including Greece, France, Egypt, Persia and Italia.

Well, Mu-Alpha-Rho-Theta is a Greek name. (I think it's Greek for Mark, actually.)
I'd spell it out in the Greek script, but I'm not entirely sure how to...
Here you go: ΜαρθI just noticed that mounted units can't re-move after a fight. It's becoming more apparent that the developers are not taking the Zero-Mission approach in remaking this game, and potential press won't be so good should FEDS skip across the Pacific ( It better!).

Updates
Second Step- What should we do now?
Basically a brief quiz testing your knowledge of the game mechanics. For example, which class has the weapon advantage over a Myrmidon.
Topics:
Repeats known information about the new Prologue and Sidestory chapters.
Three types of saves
1) Chapter saves: One can be created upon completion of a chapter. These saves can be loaded as many times as you want.
2) Map point saves: These can be created using a Save Point on the battle map. Once such a save is made, the Save Point disappears. These saves can be loaded as many times as you want.
3) Suspend: These can be created anytime during a battle map, by using the "Suspend" option in the map menu. If save data is loaded or a new game is created, the suspended data is immediately erased.
Note: The DS can be put into Sleep mode but (and this is kind of obvious) if you switch off the DS when it's asleep, you won't be able to continue from where you left off before putting it into Sleep mode.

In other words, there's no auto-suspend if you first put it to sleep, and then turn it off without opening it?

If you turn it off without it being able to record a suspend data, you won't have one. That's about it

You know, I find it kinda ironic they're removing a lot of things for this game (supports, different magic types, con, stat caps above 20, rescuing, etc.) for what I can only assume is for the purposes of nostalgia, but then they go and throw in stuff like class-changing and save points...

Well it seems they have Strength affecting Attack Speed (ala FE9/10), which is better than I expected. Also we don't know for sure yet if all stats cap at 20 (although it's looking that way...).
I have no comments about the others though.

Well, if it's really so bad having the caps at 20, it should be so hard to go in and create higher ones But then no one would use it, either because they couldn't, or it wasn't playing the game normally D:

It's nice to keep it true to the original game, but the other games changed things so that they would be better, and I think that a lot of these things that are reverting just don't seem to appeal to me. No rescuing, low stat caps, and no class changes? And as for the way healers gain experience, well, this is just me, but I am REALLY glad they can get experience without getting attacked in the newer games, and I hope that it is that way in FEDS as well.

No rescuing, low stat caps, and no class changes? None of that has been confirmed. And there were promotions in the first one, you know >.>
