I saw it today. It was all right. Had really good parts, and some really boring parts.

Has anyone else seen it?

My roommate and I saw it over the weekend ^^

I pretty much agree with your assessment, actually.  It had potential to be better than what it was, but they put some typically cliche stuff into it that I felt took away from it =/

It did open my eyes to some of the reasons that Will Smith is so marketable in Hollywood, though.

I actually quite liked this movie, although overall the first half trumps the second half by far.  Much of it was just too funny.
Jason Batemen being in this movie actually made me quite excited for it since I'm a fan of Arrested Development and stuff (also the guy getting his hand(s) chopped off not only reminded me of Luke Wilson's part in Anchorman but when Buster lost his hand in Arrested Development, so the scenes made me lol quite a lot; just something random).  Will Smith's cool too.

I enjoyed it, is what matters when I watch a movie.

Pretty much this; the whole final battle was kind of, er...just weird.

Also, there sure were a lot of close ups on Will Smith's face. GOD DOMMOT WOLL SMOTH

Will Smith can carry a movie, and Hancock certainly has its moments, but it is, IMO, one of the weakest he has done, and I think it could have benefited from tighter plotting and a slightly longer running time.

Longer? Why LONGER? If it had tighter plotting it wouldn't be longer...

Tighter doesn't neccisarily mean "shorter", but I think Samu could probably explain that better than I.

No I understand what tighter means, but the thing is with the way the movie is set up, a tighter plot would have made it shorter 'cause it would have taken out all the retarded points where you're just sitting there like, "...and?"

Will Smith is a really nice actor and the movie was really good. Decent ending, good plot, good humour, good thrilling moments. I liked it.

But the best part was the Quantum of Solace trailer.

I saw this on Batman's opening night.  I had to settle for Hancock because by the time I had gotten to the theater, Batman was ~*sold out*~ until the next day.

Maybe it's because I felt gypped having missed Christian Bale in his sizzling batty glory, but Mary's *spoiler* just turned me sour.  The effects were snazzy and Will Smith moments charming, but the second half totally undermined whatever good opinion I formed early on.

If the movie was so boring that one of the previews before the movie started was what kept your attention the most, I think that's a pretty good indicator that the movie you were watching sucked... ._.

Anyways, I personally thought it was pretty good, but then again, I really like superhero movies...

He is a enormous James Bond fan and I doubt the comment was entirely serious.
