Marich: I don't know, I think it is ok...but for some reason I always pictured him to look a bit younger (he's Marth's age right?) I prefer pointy hat as well...this looks more like a priest's hat. Expression is more confident than one would expect from Marich.

Oguma: The worst one by far!!! It is like a cyborg Oguma or something, weird flesh tones, the expression...I can honestly say this one is terrible.

Navarre: He has a typical bishonen look, looks a bit like Byakuya from Bleach. It is fitting if not overly unique, however he looks a bit young.

Linda: Way too sexy! I mean wasn't she imprisoned and disguised as a boy? Yeah I doubt she could pull that off with that body. Anyways I always assumed Book 1 Linda was like 12 or something. As a design alone it is the most artistic, and quite good I just don't know if it fits Linda.

Minerva: I would expect Minerva to look really tough, and I think the this new character art fits the bill...however the face lacks that bit of vulnerability that is inherent in Minerva. I also think she looks a little bulky, but I guess you have to be strong to tame a dragon.

It's not like the official art for the series hasn't gone through radical changes in style before, so how is it "not FE"? Or if you can't explain that, then how do you define what is FE?

I know the changes have been radical, but this here is just...gritty.  The shadows and planes on the faces are far too stark and forbidding; it's like he drew his inspiration for them by looking at the Cliffs of Insanity.

Well, Marth's games aren't exactly the most cheerful games in the series...

Well, I have to hand it to Apollo Justice: You have to give this artwork some style. Sometimes it's just too easy to jump on the 'everybody-hates-it' bandwagon. I'm actually starting to like this now, especially the details.

For some reason, they now look more like people I can imagine being real. I doubt that made sense, but oh well.

My only real problem with Oguma is the lack of SPIKEY SHOULDERPADS. But I'll get over it. Maybe. The spikey blue armor I felt was important for his character, this seems more like a design for Oguma during his gladiator days when he first met Sheeda.

And Narvhal I do wish had his purple pimp suit and brown hair though... but everyone else looks good, really.

I don't see what you guys hate about this OA. I mean, is it the best possible? No, but it's certainly not bad. In fact, I rather like them (Not that anyone cares). They basically look like full body versions of the in game mugs.

Only one I don't like is Oguma. Just because he kinda looks a little on the retarded side.
