Shibuya, Japan.  One Neku Sakuraba is thrust into a game in which he must complete a series of missions within a seven day time limit, else face "erasure."  The catch: he must do so with style

By the team that brought you the likes of Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories.  Spoilers at (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_World_Ends_With_You)

Anyone?  Nomura is stamped all over the character design (read: ant-sized waists), but I will probably pick it up if only for the originality.

I was turned off initially by the Nomuraness of the game (I can't stand the bloody hack), but once you get past that, the game is outstanding, and though stereotypical, the characters are actually well written.

Its a brilliant game if you ask me. The story of the game was what really got me into the game, really good stuff overall if you ask me.

Let me put it this way: I'm playing through it a second time (my file on Bus' copy got erased), and I don't find it boring at all even though I know what'll happen. The battle system takes a little getting used to, but it's innovative. I also like how the characters have some depth to them and are more than what they seem. The only qualm I have with it is that it only supports one save, but that's a small nitpick.

Took long enough for a topic to show. :x

TWEWY is currently my favorite game. The battle system's great (Especially once you get good enough that you can control both screens well- it's really awesome), the story is interesting, the characters are all awesome, and quite honestly I think Another Day is the funniest thing I've seen in a game for a long time. :X

"You have a ramen doctor at your secret ramen base?"

TWEWY is an absolute must for anyone who owns a DS.  It's easily one of the best games I've ever played. Great dialogue and character development (with good voice-acting), shiny graphics, innovative and AWESOME gameplay (you don't get bored of it - EVER), awesomely twisty plot, kickass soundtrack (a crazy mix of rock, techno, hip-hop and J-pop in so many good ways)...the list goes on.  Basically, the only REAL problem with the game is the one save slot, but if you're the only person playing it (like I am), prepare to have some zetta good times.

Oh, and it has Sho Minamimoto, who is definitely one of my favorite villains, period.

And with this, my final commitment to FESS is complete.  Yuyuko was defeated on Normal without continuing.  The victorious Sakuya has taken her place!

I'm afraid it's true...theshim is A Terrible Person
