I was wondering if anyone had bought Malakian's new Scars on Broadway album. I'm a huge fan of his work in System of a Down. Anyway, so if anyone has it could you give me some feed back?

Thank's.

I tried it out. The "They Say" song that everyone hyped about since it was released early was pretty much the highlight of the album. The album is much softer than System of a Down and even Serj Tankian's solo effort; it's also much less experimental. Scars on Broadway is a very independent work that is only related to SoaD because of the people in the band.

If you're looking for a System of a Down 2, Serj Tankian's Elect the Dead is about as close as we're getting.

I like Serj's solo, Elect the Dead, but Scars on Broadway just isn't doing it for me.

You can't replace SOAD.
