I'm feeling lazy (as usual) so I'm not going to bother to type 10 paragraphs. Many of you have already seen VASM hack the shop to have an ElysianWhip and obtain the FalcoKnight class-- this patch will do the same.

To be exact, on chapter 8 there are 2 shops with the ElysianWhip (I think it's two, at least). Once you reach there, you will be able to buy it and promote any pegasus knights that are level 10 or up *coughSheedacough* into FalcoKnights instead of Wyvern Knights.

I also recommend you buy some more for later, since you might want to promote Est or something.

(OK, that's not chapter 8, but it's just an example.)

This is a test, so if anybody who has a chapter 8 save (or somewhere around there) can make sure it works, that'd be great-- I've already had 2 other people test and it seems to work, so it shouldn't be a problem.

Download Patch
Download UPS Tsukiyomi

You will need Tsukiyomi to patch it, which is self-explanatory. Thanks to Vincent for helping me with hacking FEDS.

Enjoy?

It got the generic 'checksum not valid' quote.  UPS is overly finicky about that, even if can make a difference >.>

Apply to a new file and hit "bypass invalid checksum", and it should work.

There is something I'm wandering about. Can Pegasus Knights become Falco Knights without the patch so when the Game comes to Canada, I can buy it, play it and Promote Sheeda into a Falco Knight. Is it Possible?

Elysian Whips can be bought from the Online shop, but they don't always appear.

So here comes a question: Sheeda can promote to Dragon and/or Falco?

According to SF: main menu -> extras -> wi-fi comminucation -> online shop. It seems to be one of the wi-fi enabled aspects, so you'd need access to that.

Is it even possible to use wi-fi on a rom, without a flash cart? I'd been wanting to get one of the Elysian Whips, although that wouldn't help me now.

Although, last I heard, no$GBA had it in at preliminary support levels--it's likely not to be fully supported ever though   Flashcarts are the way to go

No, it isn't, although if you told me which shop to edit and I'm not lazy I could make a patch. I'd rather not though as whichever shop I edit I pretty much have to screw the rest of the items/weapons in the shop.

Would you guys like to buy a vulnerary in chapter 1? I'm sure that could come in pretty handy, but it'd have to replace the javelin.

I hardly ever use vulneraries, but maybe other people have a need for it ...

That would screw you over on the hardest two modes, where that's the only way to safely attack the boss. If you could, you could just give one or two to your starting units.

I wish I knew how to do that, but I don't. Maybe Vincent knows about starting inventories? I don't have much of a clue...

If one needs a boost, you could always, before starting the chapter, buy a bunch of weapons/healing items/staves through the online shop to help them in the harder modes
