If anything, though, a Anri sounds like he'd make a better RPG than a strategy game   (side-scroller!)

Hacking could be a possiblity only if Anri had a face and battle sprite. We don't even know what the heck that he look like.

So?  That's why you make one.  ROM hacking isn't about spiffing levels and stats together, it's about creating a new experience using a limited base.  If there's no indication to what a person looked like you take liberty and create your own

If I didn't have a streak of never finishing any projects, it sounds kinda like something I'd be interested in >.<

I actually would enjoy a game based on Anri's quest...the details we are given are very intriguing and a great game (plot wise) could be built on that. Plus Anri is like the coolest name in FE history.

Seriously, Anri's story would end up being far too similar to Marth's. On top of that Akaneia isn't actually the most interesting continent in FE history... The whole thing would bore the hell out of me. I'd rather have something new and fresh.

IntelligentSystems will unlikely modernize the gameplay, so at least the story should keep up with the times.

In the opening video of FE3, part of the tapestry depicts a guy with long blond hair, wearing the Fire Emblem and sticking Falchion into a dragon. He's in other scenes, too, such as one where he's wearing a halo and pointing at some other people carrying Falchion and the Fire Emblem.

I always thought that was Anri...
