Whatever is discussed right now...all I have to add is that I want to see Al finding the truth about his origins soon And I still hope Zeed will change sides. Jemmie was scary anyway. Vincent was faster than I expected Chapter 33 is up.
Al haters, it's rage time.
(On the bright side, Al doesn't take part in the other three chapters in this volume at all. God knows when I'll translate them, since I'm now too entertained with FSN and another playthough of Seisen, but well.)

Well, on the one hand he isn't quite that annoying, bouncing-off-the-walls monkey kid anymore. On the other, ...really?! I mean, for a while now I kinda figured this was how Al's past was inevitably going to turn out, but seriously. So sue Personally I always thought he looked more like Roland anyways, which might have been slightly less obvious, imo.
The old apple lady was Niime?!! They look nothing alike!! Sure the art has evolved - looks much better now - but not by that much. Unless dark magic suddenly has cosmetic facial reconstruction power now, I'd say someone just said "let's recon this random old woman who appeared in chapter 1 into a cameo of an established character! No one will be able to tell the difference!" Honestly, as if there couldn't possibly be more than one craggy old woman in Elibe..

The old lady -> Niime thing was clearly an afterthought; the manga started being published before the game was released, after all. So, whoever was in charge decided to use the art style change as an excuse to do that.

Oh well, I skipped whatever everyone wrote about Al's past/origins (to not be spoiled xD). ...I figured Al isn't that popular, but he is one of the characters with visible developments/changes. These are always rather interesting xD Oh well, I betetr download now *.* Thanks for the speed  |

Thanks, awesome as usual. Now I'm waiting for part 2. On a more serious note: it seems that Aquantis is back, although she hasn't replied to my e-mail reply yet. I think it would be convenient for us three if you contacted her (or vice versa) and decided who scans what. After all, redundant work is painful and stuff. |

Am I the only one who isn't in rage mode towards Al ?  Granted, I knew about his origins even before I began reading the manga (thanks Japanese Wikipedia ), so I was able to see the character through all perspectives since the beggining (and like him for his hilarious antics), and he's not my fave character (that title goes to Jeed, Jemmie, Kilmar, Kruzard and Celdia, and I would have loved the latter two had more character development), but I like the guy. And awesome work as always, TheEnd. And don't forget, if you ever need my help for some parts of the translations, just tell me via LJ or my mail.  |

Currently on works, don't worry. But lots of things occured those last weeks, so still working on it. Would be nice if I could finish the draft before FESS' closure, but I don't guarantee it.
(That being said, I'll subscribe on Serenes' Forest just like you for the Chapter translation releases, so at least I'll publish it there if I can't make it in time.)

FESS closed....oh no...;.; I just started to warm up in here....but reading the loong long Announcement hurt my eye. And my sympathy to this site (I mean that I am very sad, that's all). Oh WELL...I will enjoy the last days and...start an account at Serenes Forest....sooner or later I would have registered there anyway, but this site here is so nice~
