Topic title is self explanatory.

My choice is, without a doubt, Epic Movie. It's just a mesh of stupidly done parodies. I'm of the opinion that the whole "_____ Movie" thing needs to die. It stopped being funny(and this barely qualifies) with Scary Movie 4.

So, come one, come all, and share with us your choices.

Nothing will ever make me cringe as much as Napoleon Dynamite did. Not only did I find the humor completely lacking, but the so-called plot felt like something made in a blender at high-speed and the actors were very annoying.

Scary Movie. It seemed like everyone else in the theater was laughing, but I didn't so much as crack a smile. It was easily the most inane garbage I've ever had the displeasure of watching. How these horrible movie parodies can keep coming is a mystery to me.

I actually haven't seen any scary movie besides 4, and I saw that awhile ago. I probably wouldn't find it even remotely funny anymore.

Don't forget Meet The Spartans.  I've never seen it, but any movie that's (trying to be) like Scary Movie is going to be really crappy.

The Halloween remake.

John Carpenter's masterpiece never should have been touched. Especially by some necrophiliac asshole who lacks brain cells.

Hell if I remember the name, but a friend and I bought some movie for one dollar once (split the cost, hurr) just for a laugh. It was some Godzilla rip-off but worse. Terrible dialogue and acting, horrible special effects (seriously, one guy was a paper cut-out and you could see some white lines around they forgot to cut off), and they used a lot of footage from pre-existing films in order to represent the typical "RAWR ARMY VS. UNDEFEATABLE BEAST" which was spliced in at non-sensical times.

"It's time for me to die."
"But... but I love you."
"It can never be."
"Alright, then let's go."

I'd say the worst I've ever seen is Josh Kirby... Time Warrior! Planet of the Dino Knights: An Adventure Beyond the Stars.

It was in some corner of my house on VHS. According to the internet, it was originally the first part of a saga of direct to TV movies.

Its title is more descriptive of its content and quality than anything I could write here.

Zoolander, hands down. It's the only non-scary movie I've never been able sit through. I've never really been a fan of Stiller, Wilson, and Ferrell (Ferrell, however, was funny in Elf).

It's gotta be a tie between Eragon and The Golden Compass. It's easy to understand why the former failed. Shitty book, shittier movie. Cool!

Though, it's upsetting that The Golden Compass failed as badly as it did, however it's easy to understand why. The mistake the production crew made was to revamp it as "politically correct," and kid-friendly (save for the polar bear fight scene, which I'm convinced was added so they could snag a PG-13 from the MPAA, and therefore advertise it as "another Lord of the Rings"). The Catholic Church was marginalized into a nameless and predictable organization, and is portrayed as being flat-out evil, evidenced by the fact that, unlike in the book, it is the priest who makes the attempt on Asriel's life, not the headmaster of Oxford.

Also, the ending was a sham. I do not understand how they plan on filming a sequel considering how drastically they altered the conclusion to the first book.

The acting, especially for Lyra, was deplorable, as well. The dialogue could have, should have been better, considering all they had to do was... copy the script from the book? How'd you fuck that up, guys? The His Dark Materials trilogy is one of my favorite pieces of literature, and it was horrifying to see something so great turned into complete shit.

Also, it won a Golden Globe over Transformers in terms of special effects. What the fuck?

Bad Santa

Seriously, I walked out during the middle of that movie, and I have yet to do that for any other movie I have ever seen before and since (unless I'm seeing part of one during my break while working at the theather, but that's something else entirely).

EDIT: If you mean in overall quality though, I guess Frogs (I think that was the name...) wins that award. The deaths are rediculous (though not as bad as Final Destination, I admit), the plot is non-existant, the characters are uninteresting, and despite the name, the frogs don't really kill anyone. Seriously, they just seem to be watching the whole time. You could say it might be that they're just the masterminds, but as I said, there's zip for plot development, so that idea is pretty much 100% speculation.

I know from the crappy game of said film they filmed the real end (as you see part of it...indicating it was a last minute cut) and that the DVD version has an extended ending (I don't know if it inlcudes the full real end or what) but my guess is the reason they did it is they didn't want a cliffhanger in case it bombed (oh...the Fantasy genre is becoming over saturated as of late...part of me thinks Prince Caspain was put out in the middle of summer in an attempt to kill Narnia...) or since everything else about the film was being made happy they didn't want a sad ending.

Most parody and comedy based movies are awful but the last bad movie I saw that didn't include one of those was War of the Worlds. The movie makes no sense. All I can gather from it is OMG OMG OMG OMG end.

Wild Wild West is a very good contender for that title, IMO. Wasn't a fan of the series to begin with, I grant you that, but the movie is extremely bad. Stupid and vulgar scenario and script, and the film basically only relies of special effects. Yuck.

War of the Worlds.

Which one? The 1953 B-movie "classic"? The recent Spielberg version? One of the two versions that came out in 2005, each with a budget of about negative two dollars? Or the infamous 1938 radio broadcast? Be more specific, man! D:

(Either way, I'm not sure what doesn't make sense. Aliens come to Earth to harvest human beings, kill a bunch of people, set the planet into a panic, and eventually die off when infected by Earth bacteria. Not exactly a whole lot of depth to the main plot.)

That said, Disney cheapqueals top my list of worst movies because, not only are they horrible on their own, but they often ruin the originals. "OMG! MUSIC HAS BEEN BANNED IN ATLANTICA!" ...Wait, WHAT?

Bee Movie IS the WORST MOVIE EVER.

Ok, first of I must add that I'm not a person who'd go see a movie like that. Happens that I was going out with 2 friends (female), and one of them really likes disney movies. After much arguing I ended up with another friend (hey, I wasn't going to suffer alone ) watching that incredibly horrible movie.
At first I lied to myself, thinking it might be more into a Shrek sort of quality... dear God, I wished for a meteor to fall in the theather :sob:
Worst part is that since I was with them I couldn't walk out during the movie...

As for the Scary Movies, yeah they suck.

You gotta be kidding me! That movie was hilarious XP. The absurdity reached levels of "wtf? "
