Soren doesnt gain any weapon exp?

Okay, this is strange: Since part 3 started, I've been using Soren extensively to level him up to par with the lv 12-13 crew. Since his wind weapon level is already capped at S, I used thunder and fire magic whenever I could (which was nearly always, as he needed softened enemies anyway so the extra power of Elwind wasn't needed most of the time) to raise their weapon levels. To my surprise, the progress bar of those doesn't raise even one bit... And I've already used Thunder 15 times in the first two chapters! Considering I've got a maximum of 3 double hits thanks to Adept activation, that makes 12 Weapon Exp points. The bar should be 20% full (12/60*100 = 20), which is clearly visible, but the status screen shows it totally empty.

Is this a bug or something?

What is his weapon level right now? Wind Sage can only reach up to A(?) rank in Fire and Thunder and if you transferred Data you might even start with that.

Oh, just B in both Fire and Thunder. And as I said, it won't go any higher. I'm using Elthunder in the next battle. It gives 2 WExp per use, so if I don't see any progress after that, something is definitely wrong.


EDIT: Uh, nevermind this topic. He is indeed getting WExp, it's just that the WExp bar is really hidden under the "Thunder" word (well, "Trueno" in Spanish), compared to other categories, like swords. I didn't see it until it was halfway full.

Yeah, the same happened with my Ilyana when I was trying to get her to SS rank. I was thinking "Okay actually gain some W-EXP," until I looked and was like "Oh, she has been, but I didn't see the bar until it was almost full.
