As you're all familiar with, Fire Emblem: DS is a remake of the original Fire Emblem game, with some content thrown in to change up the mix a little.  Its status as a remake has left us unsure whether to lump it in with the FE1 board or give it its own.  The conclusion has been, however, that FE:DS deserves its own section seperate from the original, as a game that does possess noteworthy differences from the original product.  This also has the bonus of keeping the occasional FE1 thread from being annihilated by traffic for this game.

From this point forth, all questions and threads concerning FE:DS will go in its respective board.  Threads concerning FE:DS will be relocated, and links adjusted to address this.  That said, I hope you all enjoy the new board!

The floor's open for questions and comments.

And with that, the FE1 board is down to 7 topics and 32 posts.  Ouch.

Heh, maybe I'll play FE1 now...just to get ready.

And with this, my final commitment to FESS is complete.  Yuyuko was defeated on Normal without continuing.  The victorious Sakuya has taken her place!

Well, this is what I felt from the beginning. I know combining them earlier made sense, but as soon as the game came out, it seemed to have enough differences to warrant it.

It's indeed kinda sad that the FE1 board is so empty all. But really, what reason is there for new players to play it if they also have a go at the remake and FE3 Book 1? Although I suppose I could play it once to see how different it was ... and create the proud eighth topic of the board.

But anyway, seperating was probably the best option.
