The board's style will likely bounce around schizophrenically for the next few days.

I've enabled themes, and I'll be uploading lots of them for people to try out. I personally am torn between Dilber MC and the default SMF forum skin, both of which I can modify to look all purty later on.

What would people like to see? More blue? A different color? Gimme some feedback.

The current skin has a color picker on the right side that allows choosing between a number of different shades. I am personally leaning towards using Dilber MC, so which shades would people like? (I can make it so that you can choose your own, but the logo may look very fucking weird on a different color. I like the dark blue, second from the left.)

Yes, I've always been a navy guy (Yes, second from the left). I'd support the user of Dilber MC as the base theme to work off of, because I really like the look of it, though the default theme also looks nice.

Unless someone gives a good reason not to, I think I probably will use the Dilber MC base themes.

The cool part comes when I can make user-pickable skins based on various FE characters. Blue? Hector. Green? Lyn. Cyan? the Wonder Twins. etc.

If you're adding any colours, I'd suggest a better orange one.  The default one looks atrocious.

I plan on removing colors, not adding them.

I've removed the ugliest ones.

What I can do, however, is make them into image buttons, with characters' faces on them. Each one can then be a FE skin based on the character's primary color.

Is there any chance of getting a darker theme (similar to current FESS)? Looking at the white background on every other post feels like staring into a lightbulb. (Of course, it's possible that I've just been in front of the computer too long.)

Togieduo is looking at doing that. I am not changing away from DilberMC as a base skin, but he thinks he can do something not-hideous for a darker theme.

(If his is hideous, and I have time, I may work on one. No guarantees.)
