Aye.  That rumor spread like wildfire.  There was another one that Ike was actually Ashnard's son.

Close, but no cigar.

I think what disappoints me most is how late Micaiah gets her second promotion, although I typically abuse her so much that it makes no difference.

I guess I can't really complain about the way they switched up the Lords (and even had ordinary units serve as "Lords" in certain scenarios, like... pretty much everything in Part 2), because I did enjoy it in a weird way, but nevertheless I don't want to see too much more of that in future Fire Emblem games.

I think it was the same one, where Zelgius was the next rightful king of Daein followed by Ike.

I'm actually curious to see how that would unfold, if it was true.

One thing I didn't like at all is that Micaiah has zero authority starts throughout the whole game. I can understand that at the beginning or even all the first chapter but... How is that the savior of Daiein, the revered Maiden of Dawn and supreme commander of Daein's army has ZERO stars? Sigh...

Wait, wait... So the beorc village that Greil attacked when he got berserk was in Gallia? I thought no beorcs lived in Gallia (or laguz countries in general), much less an entire village.

Soren's teacher also lived in Gallia, if I remember his Support conversations with Ike in Path of Radiance correctly.

And Soren's teacher thought he was a Spirit Charmer. No Laguz or Branded would have made that mistake.

Now, how Soren got from Daein to Gallia, I have no clue.

Keep in mind, too, that this was during the reign of King Ramon, who was trying to repair diplomatic ties between Crimea and Gallia. I imagine that as a token of good will, some beorc might be allowed to live in Gallia. Or maybe they had always lived there, as a pocket of beorc resistance within a laguz country, like the laguz bandits in Begnion.
