As you've probably guessed, I'm new. I'm EnGuru, or Angel or just En. You might (but probably don't) know me from DeviantArt and/or Newgrounds.

I'm also really hoping that I haven't violated some rule about 'you must post here first.'

Don't worry, there's no rule stating that you must post here first. Hell, some members haven't made intro topics at all and just go right to posting.
