What is up with the Affin thing?

Does it have something to do with Eliwood's Story? Or Hector's?

Do you mean the affinity you have to pick in the beginning of the game? If that's the case, then it doesn't do anything really. Don't really know why they put the feature in the game.

It's a nice gimmick, if you ask me. Useless when you're past a certain age, but hey.

Well, the Tactician affinity gives +1~7 (+1 for every four chapters you've finished) Avoid and Critical Evade to characters with the same affinity. It's a minor boost, but worth mentioning.
