I'm now just starting Chapter 22 with all eight Divine Weapons. I know all the stuff I need to do to finish the game, but I just wanted to see how everyone else did it...

So here are my questions;

On chapter 22, how many different parties should there be? What I mean is, in how many teams should I separate to get the work done easily? I'm making a referance to chapter 20x, where the units were separated into three separate teams. I'm thinking three parties should do the job, but I'd like other opinions.
Do you really need Fir to get Karel on chapter 23? I know it's dumb, but I never really found out about that.
They say that chapters 24 and Final are the easiest in the whole game. All you need is a buncha Divine Weapons. Is that true?
What should I ABSOLUTELY watch out for? The berserk, sleep and bolting gave me a helluva time in chapter 16.
Should I have more than six magic users for chapter 22? I'm asking this because, well, I've trained All three mages, all nonpromote healers and all shamans to AT LEAST level 14 promoted.

And of course, we're not going to mull on this forever, so I guess someone could lock it after I've posted a message that I'm done.

Thanks, and feel free to reply. The sooper FE6 NUUB is waiting for you.

You do indeed need Fir to recruit Karel. Alternatively, you could use Bartre if you go him. Karel won't join if you visit the village with anyone else.

The final two chapters are as easy as you heard. They contain nothing but Mamkutes, which are easily murdered with divine weapons. And, uh, SIX magic-users? That seems a tad excessive. I only used three (Lugh, Clarine, and Ray).

Magic users... Well, bring a few. I usually bring 5-6 since mine turn out well, and the whole 1-2 range without carrying a heavy weapon is nice for those Bishop reinforcements and a Longbow is good for taking out some of those Druid/Shaman/Sniper in that closed off area. The Druid has Berserk, so have a Restore on both sides of the map.

Brenya chapter. You need enough to soak up Brenya's Thunderstorm (and some generic guy's Berserk...?). I recommend a couple, but if you have stronger physical units, those are good too.

The final two chapters... Any Divine weapons will eat up the Mamkutes. In the Jahn chapter, each individual portion counts as a separate chapter, allowing you to clear all of Karel's supports. And Idoun is massacred by the Divine weapons, but you'd be cruel not to use Sword of Seals (which owns her even more). Also, Mamkutes can't attack 1-2, they're only range 1, so Lyrina + Lalum is more than enough for each Mamkute.

Take your time with Brenya's elite group then, baiting out the status staves and bolting one by one, Restoring and Mending as you go closer until they run out. I believe the majority of her group refuses to attack though, lol.

Just don't get people killed by Mamkutes...especially not reinforcements in Ch23.

Doesn't matter a lot, as long as you have room for Fir/Bartre, and some units with actual Def to lure Wyverns (Miledy, Percival, etc), because your magic units will prolly get 2-3HKOed by Wyvern Riders and 1-2HKOed by Wyvern Lords.

Okay, I'm doing chapter 22, I think I need about six more turns until I get to the right switch, about eight more for the left.
It's a pain right now, but I'm using the following;
They're all promoted.
Gonzales- lvl 16
Rutger- lvl 20
Clarine- lvl 20
Ray- lvl 15
Sohpia- lvl 15
Roy- lvl 1
Chad- lvl 20
Zeiss- lvl 14
Lilina- lvl 20
Lugh- lvl 20
Saul- lvl 20
Ellen- lvl 20
Alan- lvl 14
Lance- lvl 14
Oujay- lvl 11
Sue- lvl 15

Arena abuse much?

I was using mostly the same people...I think I dropped Alan, Lance, Zeiss, Saul and Ellen and had Miledy (who was INSANE), Percival, Shin, Geese and Fir.  I have no intention of using Sophia again though, as she's not usually worth raising (though when the RNG goes completely berserk and gives her 21 speed at 20/1, I'M NOT ARGUING).  Seems a pretty solid group overall.

And I was able to Restore my way out of most of the status stuff on 23; I think I just said "screw it" and used the Holy Maiden once, though.

The mamkutes can be OHKO'd by Gonzales with Armads; it's delicious.

I abused of the Arena, and that is the reason for Sophia is one of may 8-Elite, my 8-Elite are (Roy and Fa are not included):

Lilina Lv 20 - Forzable User (Souport A With Roy)
Sophia Lv 20 - Apocalypse User
Saul Lv 20 - Aureola User
Clarine Lv 20 - Holy Maiden User
(Yes, I have my Magic Units at Lv20, and one of each Legendary Weapon)
Rutger Lv 18 - Durandal User (Suport A With Clarine)
Sue Lv 17 - Miurgre User
Milady Lv 15 - Malte User
Geesee Lv 16 - Armads User

and with the question, you Really Need Fir if you want to have Karel, with Brenya, you can use Warp Staff to raech her faster an kill him (with a very good unity)

I usually limit my use of non-final chapter holy weapon wielders a lot, so I often end up with under 10 units.

Although Sophia isn't a great unit, with Apocalypse against Mamkutes I had a heck of a lot of OHKOs (that's probably due to Apocalypse's high Might, but I don't remember Ray getting so many). However I've found her to be just too much of a pain in the ass to protect, since have any avoid she'll definitely need a Body Ring so she can actually lift something, and if she's screwed over in speed or defence then there's no hope. In the final chapter always leave someone in front of her, as Mamkutes will tear her to shreds. Ellen and Saul (whichever has Aureola) will need to watch out too, as neither usually have good enough avoid for Mamkute attacks.

As for Roy: It helps a lot to level him up a bit in Zephiel's chapter. It's going to be where he he gets his easiest kills without wasting the SoS Lack of Dgn. Knights or multitudes of Mamkutes. It can be incredibly annoying when you underestimate threats of the Ballistae and Dragon Knights later on, among others.

You may have noticed, but both Zephiel and Brenya's chapters will drain your Restore staves like crazy. I hope you have plenty. I'm also don't think you can actually bring all those characters to the final chapter. Don't quote me on that though.
