Do you ever get him again after the last couple chapters in Micaiah's game?

If you refer to Micaiah's game as part 1...he does come back for her first chapter in part 3 (3-6?). I'm quite sure that that's the only other one, though.

He joins in her second chapter of part 3, but he joins as an NPC there, so you don't get to control him (so if you want to enjoy him owning enemies with lances, it must be during part 1).

No, you can control him in part three. It's when he shows up in part 4 that he's an NPC. (EDIT: I love the fact that I can't post spoiler tags.)

Whoops! Yeah, I mixed up his appearances. Well, at least that means once more chapter that you can have him pwn things with using his lances.

I don't care if he DOES steal EXP, he's the freak'n Black Knight, and I'm going to pwn every flippin mother's son with Alondite as long as the chapter lasts.

I prefer to give him lances, simply because I can. And because he looks cool with them. Plus it's fun to see him still holding it when he reappears in part 4.

Make sure you strip him of his healing items, or you will regret it later.

Why would you give him one in the first place? I'm fairly certain that there isn't anything that can break his defence in the chapters you can use him...

Since this topic is full of spoilers, I will post another one. In one of the Merc chapters (3-7 or 3-8, can't remember), you can fight the BK since he is still with Micaiah, Before you finish 3-6, make sure to UNEQUIP his Alondlite so you can attack them without fear of being owned. Note that his armor is no longer blessed so all weapons work, and to unlock Pelleas during your 2nd playthrough you need Ike to battle against BK before that chapter is over (don't have to finish him, just last one round). Unequiping his weapon just makes the job a little easier.

Actually, to unlock Sephiran, you have to attack him.

He comes with a Concoction when he joins. Though I usually just throw it at Micaiah, if you don't remove it, he can use them in his fight in the final chapter.

Granted, that may give you more time to grab the Wishblade.

Most magic users should be able to kill him (Levail) off though with a long-range spell.

I ended up taking BK out with on a counterattack just as I set my team up for the approach. "I DON'T CARE, I'M MOVING ON!" Except I should have cared, because I needed the Wishblade later on.

I just kind of ran around until I got the Wishblade, THEN opened a can of whoop-ass on the BK.

Wait, wait, you seriously can unequip Alondite, and he won't reequip it when you fight him with Ike?
Well, that makes that secret character a whole lot easier to unlock!

If you de-equip Alondite he'll stay equipped with the other weapon. However, after a few turns he'll re-equip the Alondite and start moving (or if you put Ike in range of his ranged attack, he'll auto-equip it there to attack with, as well).
