I tried this in the main topic in Announcements, but there's a lot going on in there..

So, after two years, what's new with you FESS?

I'm currently attending college in Manhattan, working towards a BA in Psychology with a Minor in Political Science. I intend to go to grad school to study Neuropsychology, hopefully working in a lab doing research on the mind for the rest of my life. I just finished Freshman year, and my scholarships have increased based on campus involvement and what not.

Also: Did you play FE11? Are you excited for the next FE that's coming out?

So, what's new?

I've been at a local community college for four years, starting with my senior year in high school.  I wasn't much looking to leave, but just to enjoy my time around, and leave whenever, but then the person I was with decided to go batshit insane and run off.  And then she stole my dog later.  Not a happy camper lately.

After asking one of my favorite professors a suggested place to leave to, she suggested Reed College.  I mentioned this to a few other good teachs, and they agreed it's my kinda place.  I looked it over and it's pretty awesome.

Things have been going strangely for the past few months.  I mean, even look here, suddenly FESS is alive, all for the more awesome.  I found a dollar, and I moved in with some honors classmates for a last fun year before I fling myself out somewhere by transferring.  I've been writing a lot, and yeah.



I've been raping my mind with Beckett, because he thought how I thought.

Currently studying Business Management in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I intend to seek
a schoolarship or take a loan to make my MBA either in the US or UK, so let's hope
that goes well!

I've been in contact with many FESSers, some more than others, though.

And Celice always posts fun stuff on fb, but I was unaware of his abilities to find
single dollars :X. (TEACH ME! )

I love things that have to do with: money and social psychology. But if we talk about
food: Mexican and Japanese.

Despite rumors, I don't eat waffles and pancakes regularly :X.

The shitty thing about being my age is that a lot of the momentum that you younger guys have going on in your lives is lost. I've changed careers and am now self-employed, but other than that, I'm basically doing the same thing in 2010 (age: 30) that I did in 2008 (age: 28).

It's all downhill after 21.

Graduated college. Landed a preposterously overpaid job in Boston and am still enjoying the feeling when I tell recruiters who were slow to get back to me "sorry, I've taken a position."

I'm going to college in the fall on a full ride, going to double major in Math/Physics and I'm not sure what I'm going to do from there.  I'm currently relaxing after enduring a six week summer program for the scholarship I'm in, though.

i got my ba in international studies east asia...if things go well then i'm moving to japan in a year to be a teacher, if things don't go well than i'm prolly gonna get my masters in law or political science.

my hometown is currently literally overrun with twihards and it makes me die a little inside.

I'm still doing the college thing, Pre-law and German at Virginia Tech. And I'm still drawing as well. Otherwise, not much has changed.

I still live 2 rooms across from Willfor. I still bother him daily. But I'm not the childish ninny that was here in 04'-08'. I gradyeat'd the twelth grade and now I have Willfor's old job.

That's not entirely true.  You are more likely to succeed at cheese, if you think positively about the situation.

I'll be a senior in college this fall (Math/Computer Science double major), all the while trying to balance having a life with classes, TAing another class, and working on my capstone thesis. And keeping up with the fandom, not that the actual FE series has given me much enjoyment since, oh, before FE10 released. Basically, the same old stuff that I was doing two years ago.

I may already have a possible thing for when I'm done, but I'll be sure to keep that in mind.

(Had an internship this summer working on a piece of software called Tomato Analyzer (first Google link) and the people that oversee it liked my work enough to "hire" me on after the internship ended to do more work on it. So it's possible they may want it to become a longer-term position or something. I don't really know yet, but only time can tell about that one.)

I'm finally going to finish my astrophysics degree! After way too long... sigh. But atm I'm still a retail peon. :-P

Also, my hockey team sucks.

And I haven't played a Fire Emblem since uh, starting 9...four years ago.

Starting my last year of graduate school for my master's in english, writing a bloody thesis, praying for a decent tech. writer job when that's over, and otherwise enjoying being a mostly irresponsible and lazy bum while I still can.
