Fire Emblem Tactics Online

Did you think FESD's online was... not the best due to hackers and clock abusers or just plain imbalance? Even though it deviates a bit from FE canon, it's a lot of fun! Does anyone else play? It's worth checking out!

I remember when this was starting up, but I didn't look further into it because I had personal issues with the people that ran FEP at the time.

Even now, I'm not interested enough to sign up and go for it.

From what memory serves, FEPlanet basically died from that thing.  Random people jumped on for the FETO, and suddenly, all activity flew into one small section with people who didn't even care about the rest of the forum.  It just kept going until all it was known for was that's the place with FETO, and that's it.

I stopped paying attention when they added all these random fan-boner classes and stuff >.<

The fact that whoever was running FETO itself pretty much vanished doesn't help either. Promises of campaign modes and such, and then nothing. The site's gone a more than a year without updates, there's no one who can start auctions or tourneys, and overall I hardly see so many as a dozen people online at once, which makes it hard to get a battle going without directly challenging someone. It had potential, but it's basically a dying creature now.

I think I looked into FETO a year or so ago. I obviously never got into it.

So lack of leadership killed it.

No surprise.

I think FEP is still quite active outside due to RPers... even their FE forums are kind of active. Although it's true that it's basically 2 groups of people there... FETOers and RPers...

While I once disliked the deviation from FE canon (it was confusing at first), I think it was for the better. As you can see in FE Canon, it's Spd or die (or massive Def), and mages suck since they're glassy and die to braves easily...

@Superbus: SAS is running his Pokemon site... and supposedly the elite FETO people mutinied against him for being slow/not working on updates so he jumped ship...

SAS has always been unreliable.

FESS, you gave me good times, and I had a lot of fun with you. I didn't get to say this the first time around, but...

This is Shadow of Chaos, or as I'm known now, Furby, FESS' only Coding and Hacking moderator, one of the guys who helped rebuild your main website, saying goodbye, FESS, and thanks for all the fish.

I remember when I worked on FETO, and I regret leaving on such a sour note.

I haven't spoken to SaS in over two years, if that says anything.

It's basically a dead site now.

He won't reply, Zerxer doesn't give a shit, etc.

the only thing keeping it alive is the RP.
