:'3 Because it rocks. I seriously can't wait for it to be released. Info about it here.

I must say I'm kind of surprised that, as far as we know so far, they didn't pick up on Cosma'/Sheba's story... or maybe they did, who knows~ In any case, i'm totally hyped about this new game, I mean, it's been what... 6 or 7 years since the last one got released, right? I also wonder if we'll see something of Alex again, or any other of the old characters (apart from the new cast's parents of course).
So yeah, I'm curious if the plot will be good enough to stand up to its predecessors. The graphics so far look really pretty imo, and using Psynergy together with the DS-pen seems interesting, I wonder how it'll work out in the long run.
In short: I'm hyped.

Discuss away~

And please excuse this crappy intro-post. orz

I still haven't played the first two. I guess I'll add them to my already massive list of games to play.

You really should, they're definitely worth it. I had a bit of bad luck - I played GS:TLA before playing the first one, so I was used to improved interface, controls during battles, improved sprites etc... And then I was somewhat disapponted with GS1. But still, in my opinion these two are two of the very best RPG's for the GBA. And the side quests really are too much fun.  I think I played GS:TLA like.... I don't know, 8 or 9 times.

Ugh... I'll have to replay this before this game comes out.

Great games, lots of fun, interesting plotline... but I have to sit down and play them.

But I will, because Golden Sun is awesome, and I've always been wondering what would happen to Alex. I'm excited.

Put them at the top of your list and don't be like Fia.

I loved the first two games which had an awesome athmosphere to them. They're pretty much the only classical RPGs I can play and replay without getting bored.
To be honest I wasn't much impressed when they first showed videos of it in 2009, but after seeing the footages shown during E3 2010, I'm totally sold.

I loved 1 and 2 (I mean come on, Mercury Ice started out as a GS fansite) but I have to say I don't really feel impressed with the graphics so far on 3. Part of the reason I loved GS so much was the graphics (moreso the battles and walking around than the overworld), and I feel like they're falling flat on everything but the battle scenes. I hope they tighten things up before releasing 3, and I hope they're really thinking about the plot, since that is also what made it really interesting.

I'm okay with the graphics.
I'm more afraid about the characters. They look kind of generic (granted, some characters were generic in the first two games, but at least, they were all charming) and they're too damn young for my tastes.

Note to self: Bring the old ones to college to finish replaying.

While I dislike the change in graphic style (awesome 2D for meh 3D), it's sure to be fun!
