Best Flying Unit

So, who takes the cake?

After my brother deleted my save of FE11 on his R4, I started a new run on H2 a few days ago. Currently on Chapter 21 (Note: I have yet to beat this game. I was on 17 or 18 when the save was deleted) and I am planning on doing H5 when I wrap this play up. But my question is for everyone: Who is the best Flying unit?

This can include any class changes, so feel free to work them in.

I personally used Caeda for most of the game, until Catria arrived. Caeda has 6 Strength at level 14, so I left her and picked up Catria. Excellent decision; she's already promoted, and she rips shit to shreds. I figured that she would be good based on her base stats (Most of which where on par with Caeda, with a few exceptions). I also recruited Est, but didn't pick her up after raising Catria because she turned out so well. Minerva also helps out a lot; she comes with that nice custom axe, and with an A in Axes she has access to any axe in the game.

I didn't use Paola because Catria started gaining levels quite quick.

Who is the best Flying Unit? (Tips for H5= ! No spoilers please!)

I would say Sheeda is the best because her Wing Spear slaughters armored and horseback units. Sheeda also have the benefit of actually existing for the entire game unlike Minerva who is only around for about half and the sisters who have even less availability.

I think to determine the best unit, first off, you have to take weapons out of the equation. And for Sheeda, the only thing that gets her to a promotable state is the fact that she has the Wing Spear. Even considering the Wing Spear, in most of my playthroughs, she capped Speed and Skill way too early, and didn't come close on anything else.

Katua, on the other hand, is virtually a goddess of death. Her stats are insane no matter what promotion path you take with her, and if you give her the items that blocks arrows from adversely affecting her, she's almost unbeatable.

It should be noted that in New Monshou, they evened out Sheeda's stats a bit from what I can tell, and Katua is still unstoppable.

Caeda.  Her PRF weapon is pretty insane since a +5 Forge gets you going throughout the vast majority of the game.  Catria either gets shunned due to:

- Warpskip
- Many better options than her at that point

Granted she isn't terrible, but holding a candle to Caeda's earlgyame is just nonsense.
