Yeah, letting us know in the Facebook group would be a good thing, but I don't think it's 100% mandatory unless Nighty says it should be (since people need to have the right to protect their anonymity SOMEHOW. Though I would argue that the best way of doing that would be to not use Facebook).
Don't say who you are here unless you're comfortable with search engines picking it up.
I thought perhaps you could just say if you are in the group, and then we could make numbers. We don't need to know who is who, just to know if we have just fessers there or something. There's so many people that I doubt anyone would know who you are just by saying "I'm in the group". The only way that someone would recognize you it'll be by either posting your pic here and in fb's profile picture, and then it'll be because the privacy was already out the window. EDIT: Note: Guys, the idea is to keep the facebook group rather private to our old member base.

Hao got lost, around the third time my computer fried itself (boycott HP Pavilion guys), I belive I have a backup of him in my old computer the problem its that said computer its about 2240 km from were I live. I have been BUSY getting my MSE at Monterrey, lost some contact info so I could barely tell who's who on msn, were I pretty much login just to ask for help on projects and stuff.
