Nothing. I don't get the hype. Shopping is stressful enough, why add in the whole Black Friday craziness? TAT

I don't really do Black Friday. It's generally not my kind of thing, especially since my PS3 is supposed to be returning to my apartment from Sony tech support today.

All my Black Friday Shopping was done online for a few games I was hoping to pick up.
Saved myself maybe a couple hundred then I would have otherwise.

Here in the UK amazon did a whole black Friday week...it was kind of bad. Too little stock and odd site bugs (it liked to add you to phantom queues for items when they went live and believe me they sold out as soon as they went live and the item is yours to check out until 23:59 unlike America where you have to check out in 15 mins). Also some poor timing on deals: I mean seriously, if you're not in the market for casseroles... So what did I get. Some Chocolates, the Goldeneye Collectors Edition and... Do not want for £200 I was trying to get the £50 Xbox Slim or Wii and I had to accidentally click this one...in a few tabs (the phantom queues mean your request only gets the server about 1/7th of the time so you need lots of tabs). So I'll remove it from my basket and feel like an asshole (for the first half of the week people were just griefing each other by seeing how many items they could get into their basket and never checking any of them out).

Wal-Mart: Save money, live- OHMYGODI'MJUSTAGREETEROHGODSTOP A few friends had actually propositioned me to jump ship to Buffalo, but considering we've still yet to pummel the American dollar, had to hold off on any surprise shopping sprees. Ah, well, there's always the next 10 years.

Ah, this reminds me. I have to pick up my copy of The Complete Metropolis from Barnes and Noble when I get back to Boston. I don't think I'll get a deal from it, but hey, what can I do, ya know?
