Ooohh, FESS's up again! Here, a bulleted list:
- Finished/defended thesis and got my M.A. in English in May
(i generally refuse to observe proper grammar [whatever the hell that happens to be within a given context] unless it's a professional matter, though)
- Finally pulled a nice job at a local college in a tutoring lab (still hunting around for tech writing work, though)
- (^ oh god my boss, half of my coworkers, and a fair number of students whom we work with turned out to be gamers; we get so little work done aaaaa)
- Tested for full-rank brown belt in karate in October and succeeded; one year of training until black belt test~
- Tossing around what scraps of time I have left from work-stuff and karate between RPing, playing DFO, Skyrim and so many other games, watching SF4 and UMvC3 streams... mostly anything that does not involve being a proper adult, I suppose. :D
