and is the chat services really screwed up for anyone?

best part about it is that i can now showcase how many different kinds of "English" i know on my profile

The posting seems faster with all profiles now mirroring the new group types...

I was careful not to do the full upgrade... that one looks so much easier for stalking

What do you mean, not the full upgrade? D: Thought you only had to click that button to change to the new one and that was it

(Also, couldn't you just change that in privacy options so that only your profile pic shows and nothing else? It supposedly didn't change any of those settings)

Right now, the wall posts settings is updated to the new version automatically...

But I didn't make the full conversion, which changes how your relationships and friends appears on your page, as well as all the various contact you buttons.

The new way is bad because it puts your information front and center... very annoying.

What's sillier than English english is the fact that each language has its own page explaining it.  I saw my friend claiming he spoke "Newspeak" and they have a whole page showing the whole background of the language about George Orwell and everything.
