Hehe, lol, so that's why my father puts the wipers up whenever we're in a snowy area...

Didn't really affect us in California, but a present that I'd ordered was delayed in the East Coast because of the snow.

Your area must be surrounded by alot of mountains to get this much snow, because it almost never snows in my area.

^ You must have been in the Tahoe area in the last week of December, then. We went before Christmas and got fantastic weather for driving/hitting the slopes.

The entire drive from Bay Area to our destination in Reno only took like 4 or so hours... But one year it took 11 hours, and it took my friend 13 hours.

Yeah, kinda! It happened like 2 days ago!

An aunt had to go back to San Francisco and got stuck and had to go to her brother's (my uncle) house, since she was unlucky since the road she had to take was closed. The bad thing is that I was hoping the whole way back to where we had to go that the freeway remained opened!

It's been some crazy weeks

Speaking of a shitload of snow, that freak snowstorm we got back in October sucked. I was without power for only 18 hours, but some people went for over a week before they got they got their power back.

There's no snow in my corner of Canada.

That says a lot about Canadian stereotypes.

Other than it's typically warmer than every other province other than British Columbia, where it always rains?

I live in a mediterranean climate, so I just can't grasp the concept of this thing you call snow. It does get a little chilly in the morning though. Yesterday I had a small sheet of ice on my windshield, and it was such a bother to get off. I was waylaid by a whole five seconds having to turn my wipers on.

You guys are lucky, you have no idea how hard it is to live in San Diego with such temperamental weather.

We get snowfall during the morning but it melts by the end of the day around here. Shouldn't be long until it stays there for a few months.
