I live in a mediterranean climate, so I just can't grasp the concept of this thing you call snow. It does get a little chilly in the morning though. Yesterday I had a small sheet of ice on my windshield, and it was such a bother to get off. I was waylaid by a whole five seconds having to turn my wipers on.

You guys are lucky, you have no idea how hard it is to live in San Diego with such temperamental weather.

I do, because I live down there when not up in college. The fact that you mentioned the phrase "sheet of ice" makes me call bullshit. San Diegans bitching about cold weather means that it rained or that it dipped into the low 60s. Also, SoCal has the most static weather of anywhere in the world, why is it temperamental?

We get snowfall during the morning but it melts by the end of the day around here. Shouldn't be long until it stays there for a few months.

Have I met you before? You sound familiar...

To be honest I prefer the winter over summer. Which is a shame, since at the moment I'm stuck at home with like ten fans turned on, praying my laptop doesn't overheat and eating icy poles whole.

Oh you have no idea. Around here it is just the worst. You say it's static, but that five degree drop from the daytime can be positively unnerving.

Although it does get lower around here to genuinely colder, windy weather and I had to have the sucky job of a cart guy from 11PM to 8AM awhile ago.

Where I live, it is 32F right now and they're calling for a high of 39F tomorrow with flurries. Not a fan.

Thankfully I don't have to work outside, but if my parents were in the States I'd definitely have farm work to look forward to in the near future.

That's what you get for living in California.  It's like I only an experienced an earthquake once.  And I thought it was someone shaking the desks.

Speaking of a shitload of snow, that freak snowstorm we got back in October sucked. I was without power for only 18 hours, but some people went for over a week before they got they got their power back.
There are still trees and branches all over the curbs of my and surrounding neighborhoods from that storm. Pretty ridiculous.

Quote from: TUSCAN WHOLE MILK FOR EVERYBODY
We operate a large kitten farm in Texas, providing thousands of domestic felines for release into urban areas each month. We rely on the freshness of Tuscan Milk, as our kittens will not drink anything less. During the Italian milk drought of '03 we lost hundreds of puss, because the kittens refused to drink anything but Tuscan Whole. Thankfully Tuscan also produces their Fresh Powdered line, which is canned at the teats of elderly bovine. Thanks to the Italians, Texas streets will always have plenty of healthy long-haired puss for stroking. A+++ Will do business again!!!

Oh I know...and northern California is pretty temperate from what I heard from a friend that came from up there.  I just like sounding ignorant about what actually happens in some areas.
