I'm not sure if this has been mentioned before so I will now.

In chapter 3-1, if Boyd, Oscar, or Rolf visit the north house, a different conversation happens, and you don't get the Seraph Robe.  Also, at the next chapter base, another conversation is unlocked in the info section.

Has anyone else seen this?  Does this change anything along the way since you don't get an item out of either conversation?

Actually, Oscar seems to accept it, but Rolf will not (found out because I had to restart the mission once because I couldn't find the hiding enemy in the north and kill him before the timer ran out >.>).

Didn't have Boyd visit it though, so I wouldn't know about him.

Are you sure about Oscar accepting it? I just did that particular chapter about an hour ago, and Oscar walked out of the house with nothing for me...

I didn't read the scene though. I didn't expect anything different since I had read it twice before, so I just skipped it. >_>

I don't remember what happens at that house. Does someone have a transcript for the different characters, or at least a general summary?

As far as I know, the whole thing has no effect on the rest of the game.

The way I think of it, you're basically choosing from a Seraph Robe or a look into the three brothers' past.

And that is pretty much it. If any of the 3 brothers enter the house, then you don't get the robe but you get the convo. If anyone else goes in there, you get the robe but no convo. If you already know the contents of the convo, then just go for the robe. Otherwise, it is always nice to expand on the story.

Or you could battle save, visit the house with one of the brothers to get the story and then restart and get the robe.

Knowing this now, I'd probably ditch the robe and go for the story sequence. Yune knows this story needs all the character development it can get. :sob:
