Salutations, people of FESS,
For those of you that may remember me, I, General Veers, have come once again to grace your sector with my presence. For those of you who don’t, which is probably most of you, I was here for about five weeks during the summer of 2 years ago. That used to be the only time I got freedom on the internet to do stuff like this, but, about three months ago my father got transferred from his old post in Massachusetts to some new office out in California, and the rest of us had to pack up and follow him. I used the chance to see if I could get some policy changes done, and, after applying wheeling and dealing that would have made a congressman proud, finally managed to win a significant more internet freedom—at age 16, I finally have the computer leeway most people get a 11. I signed up about a week ago, but the new house really hasn’t been sorted out yet (we’ve still got boxes of stuff to unload and some of the furniture seems to have gone missing: right now I’m using the refrigerator box as a computer desk, and we’ve been here about a month), and I’ve still not gotten totally used to my new school, so, I didn’t really get a chance to post this until now.
Although this never seemed to be the sort of forum were you do “pour your heart out” introduction topics, a little about me, mostly just for the record: So, if you couldn’t tell from what I’ve said already, as of December 5th, 2007, I’m a 16 year old student and new resident of the city of Oakland, California. My personal interests consist of Star Wars (It’s more of a passion than just an interest, really), working with models (I’m big into 40K (I have a sizable Daemonhunter force—they kind of suck, but they look awesome) but I also have quite the keening for model airplanes), reading classic literature, baseball, and, of course, video games. My family is Swedish, on both sides, although we’ve been in America for so long, there’s really no much connection left with the place. In terms of political affiliation, I fit pretty well into the social democrat camp, although I feel as if I’m still working things out on a lot of issues. I’ve seen they have a good debate community here, and I hope to get involved a least a little. Well, there you have it—me, as of now.
