Howdy hey, I'm Ash. Yes, like the one from Pokémon. Moving on.
Even though I am ridiculously bad at video games--and at Fire Emblem in particular--I picked up Rekka no Ken again the other day and I am playing it during every free moment I have, which really isn't very often. In fact, I am posting here now instead of starting a research paper due tomorrow. But I digress.
I'm here because I now have an insatiable craving for some FE role-playing, and this place looked as good as any to check out. I've gotta say, though, that whole turn-based game engine thing you've got going on is a little intimidating for a guy used to good, old-fashioned text-based storytelling.
But, uh, yeah, that wasn't enough to scare me off! So I suppose you guys're stuck with me now. Haha, suckers.

what got you into FE anyway, if you're bad at video games and particularly in Fire Emblem, why did you pick the game up..

kanzakii: Just because I'm bad at video games doesn't mean I don't like them; I like video games a lot. It just means I never finish them. I don't remember why exactly I picked Fire Emblem up in the first place--it was a couple years ago--but I'm addicted to RPG's and I'm sure the beautiful art had something to do with it. I probably also heard good reviews about it, too. Thinking back, it was probably a present from my parents or my brother.
camus: Well, Ash in my case is actually short for Asher. I just happen to like Pokémon.

We operate a large kitten farm in Texas, providing thousands of domestic felines for release into urban areas each month. We rely on the freshness of Tuscan Milk, as our kittens will not drink anything less. During the Italian milk drought of '03 we lost hundreds of puss, because the kittens refused to drink anything but Tuscan Whole. Thankfully Tuscan also produces their Fresh Powdered line, which is canned at the teats of elderly bovine. Thanks to the Italians, Texas streets will always have plenty of healthy long-haired puss for stroking. A+++ Will do business again!!! |

I think it's weird sometimes how other people, who don't know your gaming preference, bought you a game and somehow got you hooked. Someone got me pop'n music 7 for the PS2.. actually he bought the wrong game, but since then I've followed the series. Before that I've never tried rhythm game. |

Yeah, it is. I'm lucky most RPG's have awesome art, because I think that's how people decide to buy video games for me. "Hey, this box has pretty girls on it, I bet Ash'll like this game!" Also, thanks for the welcomes, everybody! |
