So, I was just wondering.  Are all the games set on continents that are all in the same world, or are they all in their own alternate universes?  If they were all in the same world, it could open up a crossover like Tales of the World did.

You should have been around several years ago >_>

There are several camps:
People who say "FE Continents are all on the same planet look at this evidence from FE3/4 etc and even if they're not on the same planet they're still connected FE3 is the place that FE7's Dragon Gates go to!" and the likes.
People who say "NO YOU FOOLS ALL FE CONTINENTS TAKE PLACE IN A VACUUM FDJLFADSKFDJS".
And people who say "god why are these people getting all mouth-frothy about a game series -_-".

As it stands, the only things which are guaranteed one way or another are:
FE2's Valencia is definitely on the same planet as FE1/3's Akaneia.
There is definitely another continent somewhere on FE4's world which has, or did have at one point, Manaketes, because Galle went there in the backstory. Whether this is another FE Continent or not is completely up in the air.
There is definitely another continent behind FE6/7's Dragon Gates, because Ninian and Nils live there. Whether this is another FE Continent, or whether it's another continent on the same planet or a continent on a different planet or whatever, are all unknown.

I guess I'll try it with Rebecca, since she's good at dying.

I think there was similar thread not too long ago

There are connections between some things with Judgral and Akania, like Narga, dragon tribes, and the like.  There's the theory of the Dragon's Gate connecting some of the worlds.  And other things I can't quite recall

Dragon Quest Monsters:  Caravan Hearts was able to do cross-overs from various worlds in the series without ever stating they were connected

EDIT:  yey
