Then why did my Ranulf with an A-support with Ike not give different endings than normal? Was it because the Transfer Data I used had Ike at an A-support with Lethe in PoR and he needs one with Ranulf instead?

Ike only ever has one ending; but other people's endings are modified to suit Ike's.

IE; Soren goes on a journey with 'the only person he ever trusted', Ranulf goes on a journey instead of staying with Skrimir.

I know that. My point was that Ranulf still had the same ending with Ike as he did with anyone else (which for me has been Lyre and Haar). I made a mistake on my last comment though, it was Ranulf who had the A-support with Lethe. Ike had an A with Soren (yes, I wanted to see the hug scene).

Regardless, I read up on the ending elsewhere. If Soren's A-Ike ending is vague in terms of his relationship with Ike, Ranulf's is even moreso. There's no gay-ness implied.

Yeah, it's all pretty vague.

My original point in this topic was only pointing out that Ike only has even vague allusions of romance with guys though.

Only Soren has the vague allusion. His relationship with Ranulf makes me think of Lloyd's relationship with Zelos from ToS in terms of how they feel about one another (which Zelos describes in the game as "best buds").
